Aw, this was wonderful. Scents can be so emotional - it's said that smell is more closely linked to memory than any other sense... so it's great what you did with 4 and 5. I like 2 because it's awesome that Teal'c would be thoughtful like this, and 3 is awesome because I can really see Teal'c and the leather thing working. And of course 1 is just hillarious.

I can testify to the scent/memory link, although I only have one example where it worked spectacularly: a whiff of something one day and I was instantly transported back to the janitor's closet in my elementary school, where we went to rinse out our paintboxes in the sink. I was standing there at the sink. I hadn't thought of that room... well, I'd never thought of it!

This was a really fun prompt to write - Googling for scents and constructing Teal'c-ish scenarios. :-)
