Five ways Cameron and Vala convince Daniel a threesome is a good idea.

Five ways Cameron and Vala convince Daniel a threesome is a good idea.

Cam and Vala got the idea while the three of them were drunk. Then they talked it to death. At least they think they talked a long while about it. It was hard for them to remember. They do remember Daniel stretched out on the couch, far gone already, struggling to stay awake and offering a word or two now and then. Once in a while he even came close to making sense.

1. The next day, Cam and Vala approached Daniel with the “we already do everything else together” suggestion. He just looked back at them, blinking, like they were completely out of their minds.

2. The day after that, Vala, wearing her most expensive perfume, used her best “oh, you know you want to” and stroked Daniel’s cheek, other hand on his chest. Daniel just rolled his eyes.

3. They thought they would get him with “three people would be less suspicious than two” argument. They were already getting the reputation of hanging out together. They could all have fun. If it were the three of them, who would ever suspect they were doing anything more than, for instance, going to the movies together or something, if they ever had to explain where they were or what they were doing. Daniel said maybe they should just go see a movie. Instead.

4. Just before the briefing started, Cam sat down beside Daniel with two coffees, putting one down in front of Daniel. When Daniel reached for it, Cam let his hand brush along Daniel’s for just a second. When Daniel looked up, Cam leaned toward him and whispered one word, “leather”. Daniel’s eyebrows went up, and his lips twitched like he had something he would like to say. But even though Cam could see him working through all the possibilities of leather what ifs, Daniel shook his head and looked down into his coffee.

5. But Daniel finally gave in when they suggested that he invite Jack.

As they left Daniel’s office, Cam and Vala high fived each other and laughed as they went in search of pie to celebrate the fact that Daniel had finally caved.

Jack? Oh, did I wake you?

Noooo, hadda answer phone. [yawn]

Sorry. Just got home. Hey, you owe me $90.

Mmmm, what? Oh, they made a move? Already?

Oh, yeah, big time.

How do you figure $90?

Ok, per our list, first $20 they approached me.

D’oh, never shoulda bet against that one. Ok, check.

And second $20 they told me to invite you, you pervert.

Seriously? Sweet! Didn’t think you could pull that one off.

Hey, it’s me. And you underestimate yourself. Give me something hard.

[laugh] Ok, check. Sooooo, when’s this secret little rendezvous?

[snicker] Always the gentleman. It’s Saturday, 2100, don’t be late. And the bonus $50 they think it’s all completely their idea.

[laugh] Oh, but of course they do. You still got it Daniel.

Oh? Got what?

[sigh] I’m just sayin’, “ Mr. Innocent,” they never saw you coming, they have you right where you want them.

Hey, I’m the king of How Do I End Up Doing Exactly What Daniel Wants Me To Do? Been there, done that, bought the lifetime subscription. Apparently I’m getting the tattoo on Saturday. So just tell me why do I make these sucker bets with you?

This bet was all your idea, remember, Jack? [soft evil laugh] Oh, bring your leather…. things.

Ok, and make Mitchell get the beer and pizza. This little affair has cost me enough already.

I'm not a J/D fan, but this is too funny especially after the one above. So Jack and Daniel were playing Cam and Vala! Wouldn't I love to be a fly on the wall when they tell them the morning after the night before...

Thanks. Oh, yeah, the morning after. LOL! I wonder if any more money changes hands. What’s on the rest of Jack & Daniel's list? Daniel plays everyone here. I always saw him as very good at ~~manipulating~~ motivating people. LOL.

HEE!! I love that they go after hime with logical reasons as well as sensual ones. The post script? Genius. Makes the whole fic. The voices of Jack and Daniel are in character and easily recognizable, too.

Wow, thank you very much! I wasn't sure I was getting their voices right, but it was the way I was "hearing" them.
