Thanks. That's actually the scene that I couldn't get out of my head when I wrote this: two men (smart men) giddily recounting the ways they'd tested the personal shield. It was such a fast friendship, based on such a ridiculous premise: that both would have enjoyed and gone through with those tests. I wanted to show it grow from there through the eyes of others.
