Five alternate realities that Jack wished was theirs

1. The one with the fishing. There was a reality where he had re-retired from the air force and was now happily living at his cabin, fishing every day. He kind of wished that he could do that. He knew, however, that no matter how much he tried, he’d somehow get sucked back in.

2. The one with Charlie. There were quite a few realities out there where Charlie was still alive. In some he was still with Sara, in others he wasn’t. All that mattered to him, though, was Charlie. He wished that he could have him back so much, even for just one day.

3. The one with cake for breakfast. They has stumbled across this one while actually searching for something else but Jack couldn’t help but think that this was a reality that was built just for him.

4. The one with the women. For some reason there was a world where women were required, by law, to not wear much clothing. Jack, being a man, loved this idea.

5. The one with his wife and kids. Naturally, Jack loved the idea of getting married and having children. And what better reality to wish was the one he lived in than the one where he was married and had two beautiful daughters, each of whom had their mother’s blonde hair and blue eyes, and their mother’s brains, but their father’s sense of humour. This was the reality he wished was his above all the other ones he’d come across. This was also the reality he was determined to make his.

I can understand his determination about #5, but somehow I think a reality that combined #3 and #4 might be even more enticing! :-D

Great list!

By the time I got to number 5 I thought that it was probably useless. He'd have got lost in the others first! lol

Thank you!
