2. He was an officer in the Satedan army, equivalent to a captain, as close as she can make out. She's not really sure why he doesn't tell anyone-why he lied, because she's sure Sheppard asked, and she knows Sheppard doesn't know. A weird, tiny part of her thinks it's something like nerves, that although he knows how to survive on his own, he's worried that he doesn't know how to be an officer again. Or that he won't be allowed to be.
3. He can ice skate. She finds it really, *really* hard to imagine, even knowing what he looks like when he's sparring with her, how graceful he is, but he told her (admittedly while drunk) and she knows he wouldn't lie, even if he denied it when he was sober.
4. He's in love with Major Lorne. It's part of why they let people think what they think about their friendship (the other part being Dusty Mehra). She'd kill to know why she's the one who knows this, not Lorne, but Ronon just says that Lorne's complicated, and it's not like Amelia doesn't get that. She doesn't think it's a bad secret, or even bad that it is a secret-she knows they're together, knows it makes them happy. She figures they'll get around to it, eventually.
5. He'd do anything not to lose one of his team. Even more so after the thing with the Wraith and Tyre getting killed. She knows that's not completely a secret - the four of them are exactly the same with each other - but she thinks the extent of it might be. Atlantis has endless opportunities to sacrifice yourself if you want to; it scares Amelia to know that if they died, for real, Ronon already knows which grenade he'd throw himself on.

If you haven't already expanded on #4 (*rushes off to search your fic*) - I would love to prompt you to do so! I loved Dusty's character, even though she was there so briefly. I also love Lorne/anyone, and this whole dynamic you've set up seems like it could be an interesting piece. ;)

I love turning the on-screen couples we're supposed to think they're in into friendships instead :o) And yeah, now I really want to write Dusty/Amelia for real.

I love #5. Ronon, like Sheppard, would do anything for his team. But especially for John. That anguished cry he utters in Common Ground tears my heart out every single time I watch it.

I love their loyalty so much. Originally, I had one about how much Ronon loves Sheppard, with the implication that they were sleeping together sometimes, but then it seemed like even Sheppard had to know that Ronon loves him.
