Thanks to all of you,
sg1_five_things has reached the milestone of
*drumroll*
Set 50!
*pauses for applause*
*applauds you for making it happen*
To celebrate, we'd like a list of 50 Things from you. (It's a party; of course you have to bring gifts!)
Here are some suggestions:
50 things I love about Stargate.
50 things everyone should know about Stargate.
50 times Hammond bet $50 and had to pay Walter.
50 places *insert your characters of choice here* got it on.
50 episodes we never got to see.
Click here, to post your list to any of the Stargate prompts suggested above. Make sure you put the prompt in the subject line for your list of 50.
50 things we never heard Jack say.
50 things about Daniel.
50 inventions Sam would create if she only had the time.
50 things Teal'c will never understand.
50 ways SG-1 left the program.
Click here, to post your list to any of the SG-1 prompts suggested above. Make sure you put the prompt in the subject line for your list of 50.
And, as a special, one-time, bonus offer, if you act within the next ten days, you receive a free-for-all. That's right, folks. Your choice of prompt for your list of 50! All you need to do is make sure you include the number 50 anywhere in the prompt.
Click here, to use your own prompt. Again, make sure you put the prompt in the subject line and post your list of 50 things related to Stargate SG-1 or Stargate Atlantis.
Wait. There's more!
We're flexible! (Paul Simon can't count, so why should we?)
Don't have a list of 50? Got 42? 13? 5? Run out of time? The cat ate your mouse? Post in anyway! We're easy, too. And those of you who say you're not a writer, here's your chance to try on that shoe. If you can make a grocery list, you can do this!
Instructions and helpful linkage are in the three prompt entries. The screened responses will be revealed on Monday, August 4. Happy fifty-thingsing!
Have questions? Ask here.
Most of all -- have 50 kinds of fun!

How about this way? Post your complete list without ficlets by replying to the post(s) I made, as usual. For the ficlets, put the prompt/list title in the subject line and add a # to match the corresponding item on your list. You can post a separate "reply" for each ficlet, but if you prefer to post multiple ficlets in one reply, assuming they fit, that's okay, too, and less work for you. :)
I'm glad we could help! I think the comm is fun and useful for things like that, too. :D
(Sorry for any delay in responding. I'm having internet woes, but will check back later today in case I didn't explain that well enough.) :)

Put simply, post your list first, then, post each ficlet as a new reply to the OP. Just be sure you add the prompt and/or item number in the subject line. (This will make your ficlets easier to follow if other people are posting at the same time, too.)
This is a new experiment for the comm, too. We're all learning together. :) We appreciate your willingness to try something new!
