5 Things Jack Packed in Daniel's Suitcase
2. Ascension for Dummies: handbook he ghost authored out of spite because he actually ascended during Abyss and came back which is why he wouldn't let Daniel help him ascend AGAIN.
3. Chocolate walnut cookies he baked himself. He wanted Daniel to know he could cook more than beer omelets. Besides he lost a bet which embarrassed the heck out of him and he is bribing Daniel to keep it quiet.
4. The Book: Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. Because he wants Daniel to get laid. And since Daniel over thinks everything, at least it would provide some direction. After all MEN don't ask for directions.
5. A copy of 'Homes and Land' for Northern Virginia where the Pentagon is located to give Daniel the idea he should move there too. He figured if Daniel used it for bathroom reading eventually the meaning would come out.

1. A photograph of the team, taken about five years earlier.
2. A photograph of Jack himself, taken about five hours earlier.
3. An old t-shirt of Jack’s that Daniel sleeps in sometimes, when Jack’s body heat isn’t quite enough to keep him warm on the coldest of winter nights.
4. A slender volume of Persian love poetry. Jack isn’t entirely certain that Persian is one of the languages Daniel can read, but figures he can always relax and have fun by trying to translate it.

These are all things that I could picture Jack wanting Daniel to have with him. Very nice. And I bet that Daniel would have put off washing that t-shirt for as long as possible, because he could still imagine Jack's scent on it.
