Five times love or lust caught Teal'c off guard.

really vague spoilers for Window of Opportunity in answer #4
#3 has a Grinch who Stole Christmas crossover feel to it, and a reference to the Simpsons movie that was broadcast in the commercials too often for it to be a spoiler.
Um, no other warnings I can think of.



1) When he saw his first Mothership. Apparently the love of a man for big machines transcends species.

2) After Vala dragged him out clubbing. He didn't know that the pills the friendly guy gave him ("the first one's free"), were Ecstacy. Teal'c spent the rest of the night in the infirmary telling everyone how much he loved them. Repeatedly and in detail.

3) While Samantha Carter's Cindy Loo pants downward slid
Method actor Teal'c's heart grew two sizes too big.

Jack in the corner dressed like a fig:
Should go to rehearsal, instead of rewatching the part with Spider Pig

Daniel, he stood and quoted the book
Of Dr. Suess's the Grinch, you know, you look.

T'was the SGC players favourite play
and SG-1's rendition would surely slay

the harsh words of critics and naysayers the same
the prize was theirs -if Hammond could only
remember his lines.


4) When Lt. Lust slammed the door into Teal'cs face. But only the first time, by the 37th loop he was kind of expecting it.

5)After his people were finally free. Teal'c looked at his team and was overcome. These people had taken him in-a stranger and an enemy. Fought and defeated Gods for him and his people. Only the birth of Teal'c son could eclipse this moment in Teal'c heart.

These are so great! So inventive and such a good mix. The Seuss/Simpsons verse one is most awesome. I love #4, that's a really clever response to the prompt. And Teal'c lying in the infirmary all dreamy and sweet and maudlin and telling everybody how much he loves them -- that puts a big silly grin on my face. The last one is lovely, and the first one made me grin too. Maybe when the Goa'uld and Ori are a decades-old memory there'll be Vintage Vessels and Monster Spacecraft rallies in the Dakara system or somewhere, people showing off their lovingly-restored Ori warships (demilitarized, of course) and souped-up al'keshes? Anyway, such a fun list, thanks so much for writing!

Number 4 is my favorite, with 5 a close second. I can imagine how that must feel for Teal'c--I guess I never thought about it much until you outlined it here, but they really did do an amazing thing for him.

And #2...I can just picture it. Priceless!

This is a great 'thinking outside the box' list! One of the things I really enjoy about Five Things is even after all this time there's so much creativity to be found in just 'how' the prompts are approached. And #4 is especially all kinds of clever!
