Four times Daniel remembered he's a civilian and one time Jack reminded him. Pt. 4

"Oh? And what did you have in mind, General O'Neill?" Jack pinched him in response and Daniel lightly swatted his lover's ass as payback.

"We still haven't decided where we're going to live when we both retire." Jack put his hand over Daniel's mouth. "And don't say Atlantis. That's not retirement."

Daniel smiled under his lover's hand and then pulled it away from his mouth. "I wasn't going to say that, but since what I had been going to say was insufferably sappy, I'm glad you stopped me."

"Not that again. I thought we'd agreed to never say that again." Jack tried, and failed, to look suitably disgusted.

"Hey, you said it first!" Daniel tried not to smile, but he was about as successful as Jack had been in controlling his expression. "I just happened to agree with it."

"Don't remind me. Just because something's true, doesn't mean we have to dwell." Jack closed his eyes with a sigh and caressed Daniel's hip and thigh. Daniel closed his own eyes and let Jack's even breathing and slowing caresses lull him back to sleep. He drifted happily into dreams knowing that it didn't matter where they retired as long as they were civilians together… no matter how sappy it sounded out loud.

This was the first? Wow.

I loved 4 & 5. I just feel Daniel's frustration and exhaustion in 4. And 5 is just squishy-good. *le sigh* I love happy endings. :)

Thanks!

Well, not my first fic, but my first 5 things. ;-) I've been resisting because I know me. ;-) I can resist anything but temptation. ;-)

Which is why I've already done one each for three of the latest prompts, but none as long as this one. ;-) I'm nothing if not obsessive. :-)

Eeeee!

Okay, that's as coherent as the fb is gonna get, sorry. :-)

I hope you'll be hanging around the sandbox for a while!

LOL!! That works for FB. :-)

I've played with three of the latest, but nothing quite this long or involved. :-) At least one of them only took a single entry. :-) I don't remember about the other two... I've slept since then. :-)
