It's still an appreciated courtesy to include a subject-line warning for spoilers of any back-half S10/S3 episodes, especially the season finales. Thanks!
If you're posting a response after the unveiling announcement, please copy the link to your comment, click on the 'set 28' tag, and reply to the post 'Set 28 Unscreened' with the link to your new comment-response. That helps people find and read and comment on responses that weren't there when they cruised through right after the reveal. :-)

2. she's an ok cook. sam can't do anything fancy, but she makes a great tuna casserole.
3. sam's a pretty decent singer. her rendition of silent night at the sgc christmas party every year always left many people choked up.
4. she's a fairly competent fisherman (woman?) sam went on several fishing trips with jack for him to help with her "technique"
5. sam's can draw fairly well. she often has to sketch out plans for some component for whatever she's working on & no one has wondered what she was trying to put across.

Nice work. :-)

However, I could quite easily be a closet Carter/Amabssador Joe shipper. Somehow, they fitted really well. He respected her, as a woman and as a professional career-focused woman; they could have been happy, I'm sure. And on a perfectly shallow note, they looked great together.
Carter/Lee ... oh yeah...the sniping, the scientific pillow talk, the technobabble as sex ... someone needs to write it. :-)

I wish the show writers could have figured out #'s 1 and 2, dammit. *g*
#3 makes me sad, that she is missing out on this joy for herself.
#4 makes me wistful about Jolinar, and is a cool and creepy thing, this hidden danger she was unaware of.
#5 is very happy-making in a teary way- because- Atlantis! Oh and I so hope it's all of that for Sam.

I know you write Jack and Daniel the most but I love, love your Sam so very much.
Every one of those feels so completely true. I love the comparison with her parents - the wanting what she thinks should be normal, but not actually wanting it for her so much as thinking she should want it (Because. Yes.)
and all of them.
But number 5? Number 5....almost hurts in its trueness. Oh. SAM!

#4: I just have to wonder where you came up with the allergy idea? It stands out among the others since it has nothing to do with Sam's potential happiness, and it's just plain a cool concept. :-)
#3: This is something I often think of in musical terms. How many people never get exposed to the instrument that they could make sing?
#2: In a lot of ways, Sam's a by-the-book kinda gal. She could easily mislead herself about what she wants her life to look like.
#1: Wow, this is deep, and it all intertwines and branches out and confuzzles me. Maybe you'll spell it all out one day, like you've mentioned. I would so read that. :-)
