Redheads are indeed awesome. My youngest daughter and one of my two aunts are redheads. Have you seen early photos of Don S. Davis? He's one too. What was amusing was not the color, but the implication that he might have been dyeing it to maintain that. This post was written in great haste shortly before the reveal was due, so I didn't spend much time in exposition, and the point might be a little too subtle here. Sorry if you were (even mildly) offended.
As to the peanut butter cookies, you'll note that it took Jack years of serving with Teal'c before he could pull that off!
