Four things that Cam would do for his team, and one that he wouldn't

1. Only for Sam would he agree to have an untested alien device attached to his forehead for a 24 hour period. She kept insisting that it wouldn't hurt and wouldn't cause any permanent damage. She forgot to mention the tripped out hallucinations that it would cause. The rest of the base would never forget them either.

2. Why Vala wanted him of all people to go shopping, he had no idea. He hated clothes shopping almost as much as he hated, well, any shopping, but she had begged and pleaded with him until he caved. Despite having to carry all her bags, he almost enjoyed himself, and managed to introduce her to the delights of Starbucks.

3. When Teal'c requested his companionship during a meditation session, he almost backed out. Sitting in silence for hours at a time wasn't something he was keen on trying. After twenty minutes, he fell asleep in the corner of the room and had the best sleep he'd managed in weeks. They began "meditating" together once a week.

4. Daniel managed to talk him into doing dozens of things that he wouldn't usually do. It was possible, however, that the "performance" that they gave to the inhabitants of P4X-786 was one of the strangest things he'd ever been convinced to do. And possibly the most erotic.

1. The only thing he wouldn't do, either for his team or to his team, was give up. No matter how bad the situation got, or how hopeless it all seemed, he kept the faith.

Lie, Cheat & Steal

Lie.
Everyone may think he's a boy scout, but that has worked in his favor more often than not. And lying isn't something he's necessarily proud of doing, and it's not something he'll talk about, but it is something he does for his team. When the occasion warrants it.
For example, when Landry was on a rampage when he discovered the cloaked Al'Kesh had been on Earth and hadn't been reported until it left, Cam lied and said Vala had absolutely reported to him that her father was visiting. Or when Walter was zeroing in on the fact that it was Teal'c who kept adjusting his chair height in the gate room, Cam accidently-on-purpose got caught making the chair shorter. He told the leader of P3X-142 that Sam was his wife, so that said leader wouldn't honor her with a position in his harem. He doesn't feel bad about that lie at all, despite the fact that Jackson said he now had to undo the perceptions Cam had made so that a female anthropologist could work there. Sam wasn't going to be part of a harem, so what is the big deal?

Cheat.
He was a bit disappointed when he discovered that maybe Sam wasn't a fan of his macaroons. That didn't mean he was a bad cook, did it? In fact, soon after that she became a huge fan of his lasagna. He didn't have the heart to tell her that his lasagna was Stouffer's. And that's when it all really started. It wasn't really his fault, it just kind of got out of control.

Vala liked anything he made with nuts, which he found appropriate. Even if all those dishes were from the pre-made section at Whole Foods. He knew where to find the best chicken soup and would bring it to the infirmary on a much-too-regular basis anytime anyone had to stay overnight. The only thing he actually cooked anymore was chili for when the team came over to watch football. Everything else, well... he cheated.

Steal.
Again with people thinking he's a boy scout, he often gets away with things he'd normally not dream of doing.
But he always takes extra cookies from the cafeteria. Jackson usually keeps reading when Cam shows up and eats them without really thinking about it.

Run errands.
Like most people, Cam spent his day off running errands. His errands usually revolved around getting items for members of his team. Jackson preferred Dunkin Donuts coffee to the stuff brewed in the cafeteria, so Cam would try to remember to pick him up a pound. He'd even stopped at that beauty shop and picked up some fancy face cream for Vala. At $45 a jar, he made her pay for refills. Then there was Sam, who always seemed to needed something from Home Depot or Pep Boys. Sometimes she gave him a list, which he refused to be relieved about because sometimes he didn't know what the heck she was talking about. Luckily, the folks at the auto parts store were pretty knowledgable.

Teal'c had a stack of DVD's that had to be returned to Blockbuster. Sam and Cam tried to reassure Teal'c that the mailroom couldn't actually see what movie was in the Netflix sleeve, but Teal'c didn't like the idea that they technically had the right to open mail that was delivered to base. So, Cam drove 10 miles away to one of the few remaining Blockbuster locations to get Teal'c his campy science fiction space operas and kung fu action films. Vala somehow got in on the deal and he'd began adding romantic comedies to the pile. The kid at the register looked at him funny these days.

Drive.
He wasn't being a dick, honest. He just didn't like anyone driving his car.
