Prompt 81.05

Five things the robot members of the "other" SG-1 said to each other over their internal radios during that last fateful mission

Participation is open to all. If this is your own prompt, you're free to write to it (please do!). Post your list as a comment to this post, adding additional comments if you exceed the character limit. It's OK to post as Anonymous, then come out later or not as you choose. Responses will be screened until October 11 to see what people come up with independently. You can still respond to the prompt after the October 11 unveiling.

General info and a place to ask questions: the comm 'welcome' post.

Technical-support questions: tech help.

Suggestions: the suggestion box.

To supply a new prompt: the open call for prompts.

Subject-line spoiler warnings for late-season SGA eps and the SG-1 movies, thanks!

October 11 is the official due date. If you're posting a response after the unveiling announcement on October 11, please copy the link to your comment, click on the 'set 81' tag, and reply to the post 'Set 81 Responses Unscreened' with the link to your new comment-response. That helps people find and read and comment on responses that weren't there when they cruised through right after the reveal. Pimp the link in your journal, too, if you want to let your flist know you've posted something new.

that last one is so sad :(, 2 was a little sad, but very Teal'c.

1 made me LOL.

3 and 4 made my shipper heart squee :)

Yeah, well I do confess to being a shipper, but I was trying to be kind to the other shippers. If they squint really hard they can see #3 as about to be continued by "--oved Daniel, and now I'm going where ever he went." or "--et Daniel have you, and I'm glad now I did. You to were so right together." or "--iked the couple you and Teal'c made. So strong. So non-verbal." Then they can see #4 as simply being upset at finding himself alone.

But being a Sam/Jack shipper, I don't really need to squint, do I? ;)

Of course I missed one very popular option"

"I l-iked the way you kept us focussed on the team and the mission. Romantic relationships would have interfered too much with the team dynamic. Very astute, sir!"

tsk, I would have been happier if you'd forgotten that one ... no, I would be happier if THEY forgot that one.

Nah, I defend to the death their right to feel that way, and their right to write it that way, but I'm less likely to read their stuff unless they excel as writers with a good eye for character (cf. [livejournal.com profile] aurora_novarum or [livejournal.com profile] fignewton whose writing I love!)
