Being able to write #1 was a huge bonus to the multiverse idea... somewhere in some universe, Jack needs his Sara and Charlie.

I think Daniel will probably think he has a point to prove, about why his kisses are really all that Jack needs. Not that he isn't enjoying watching Jack get tipsy and have a good time. *G*

Yay! You promoted Paul Davis! About time and good idea on why it hadn't happened before.

I like the nod to the fact that Jack's retirement doesn't solve all the DADT problems. But the way you wrote about them just quietly stealing away together and Jack looking forward to that time was so sweet.

Ha ha! Stargate was my original online fandom so I couldn't not look at what you wrote and you made me laugh so the mission was a success. I'm just glad it wasn't Daniel because I think the overwhelming, can't-move-for-falling-over-it-because-it's-everywhere Jack/Daniel thing in Stargate fandom was what put me off slash originally. Seriously, I found it *SO* unbelievable that I wouldn't read anything with a slash tag on it between then and a couple of years ago!

Excellent! Yeah, I know what you mean about Jack/Daniel - I like it well enough in small doses, but it gets annoying when one pairing completely takes over a fandom which is why I've long since given up on Torchwood.
