Even though he died and was off screen within minutes of the beginning, I always felt Dr. Jordan was very present in "The Curse". He was there in the reaction Daniel had to the news of of his death and in the way that the others responded to Daniel because of his relationship with Dr. Jordan. It's sort of like an abstract painting where the picture is made up from the parts of the canvas that *don't* have paint.
