Prompt 66.05
Five things that happened when SG-1 took a team trip to Disney World.
Participation is open to all. If this is your own prompt, you're free to write to it (please do!). Post your list as a comment to this post, adding additional comments if you exceed the character limit. It's OK to post as Anonymous, then come out later or not as you choose. Responses will be screened until March 16 to see what people come up with independently. You can still respond to the prompt after the March 16 unveiling.
General info and a place to ask questions: the comm 'welcome' post.
Technical-support questions: tech help.
Suggestions: the suggestion box.
To supply a new prompt: the open call for prompts.
Subject-line spoiler warnings for late-season SGA eps and Continuum, thanks!
March 16 is the official due date. If you're posting a response after the unveiling announcement on March 16, please copy the link to your comment, click on the 'set 66' tag, and reply to the post 'Set 66 Responses Unscreened' with the link to your new comment-response. That helps people find and read and comment on responses that weren't there when they cruised through right after the reveal. Pimp the link in your journal, too, if you want to let your flist know you've posted something new.

SG-1 visits Disneyworld #5.
SG-1 tries to
take a napwatch TV.Teal'c: "I wish to view Anthony Zimmer eating strange foods."
Sam: "That's bizarre."
Teal'c: "Indeed. I do not understand why this television has so few channels."
Jack: "For what this suite costs they should at least have some movie channels. The tour guide on all those Disney shows give me the creeps."
Sam: "She's a bit too cheerful."
Daniel: "There's an ancient tradition of exaggerated welcoming presentations in order to entice travelers.
Jack: "I don't trust that."
Daniel: "Well, of course not. But that doesn't mean one should tell the greeters that they're full of-"
Jack: "All right, there's no need to bring that up again."
Teal'c: "These beds are not as technologically advanced as the ones in the place O'Neill and I visited previously."
Daniel: "Um.......Jack is there something you want to tell me?"
Sam: "Sir?"
Jack: "Don't look at me!"

I think that even Teal'c would be worn down by several days in the Parks. ;)

Teal'c has great taste in all things adventerous. As for Daniel, he does know his stuff. Hee!
Re: SG-1 visits Disneyworld #5.
Daniel: "His point exactly."
Clearly this entire trip was Jack's idea. :-)
Loved the idea of inserting a mini-Stargate into the future city - why has this not happened yet???
*waits for Teal'c to murmur nostalgically and incoherently about "magic fingers"* LOL
Re: SG-1 visits Disneyworld #5.
And I quite agree, there should be a stargate there. Hmmm....perhaps the team will need to make a return trip.
As for Teal'c, I can just see him bemoaning the lack of proper furniture.
