omg I would have LOVED a musical SG-1 interlude. I'd have enjoyed that more than the puppets. And you should totally write a fic about that planet! Even if it's not Terran opera per se -- it could be extraterrestrial opera, or just singing aliens who don't recognize speech as communication at all, so the team has to sing to them. *g*
