2. "Colonel O'Neill? Sir? I need you to wake up. You have a concussion, and I need you to stay awake for me. Can you do that, Sir?"
3. "Colonel!" Major Carter whispered. She never got within arm's length of the Colonel off-world because his black ops training made him dangerous when awakened suddenly. "Sir!" He opened one eye. "Jaffa patrol. Teal'c is trying to circle around behind them." O'Neill jumped to a crouch, his sidearm in his hand with the safety off before Carter had her hand over Daniel's mouth. (He usually spoke as he awakened, and she didn't want the Jaffa to know they knew they were there.)
4. "Colonel. Jack, please..."
5. Jack sighed and stretched. Unhappy to have awakened in the middle of a delicious dream in which Samantha Carter had been performing a most pleasant sexual act, his senses suddenly alerted him to the presence of another person in the room. He slipped his hand under the pillow and clasped his beretta.
"Don't tell me," Sam said. "It's your sidearm, you swear."
Jack looked down toward the foot of his bed, where a naked Samantha Carter kneeled between his knees. He grinned and relaxed his grip on the beretta.
"Colonel."
"General."
"Not that I'm complaining at ALL, mind you, but don't tell me you came all the way from the Pegasus Galaxy just for that."
She shrugged. That made certain parts of her anatomy jiggle deliciously.
"Happy Birthday, General O'Neill," she said with a smile before crawling up his body and plastering hers against it.
"Why, thank you, Mrs. O'Neill."

Five times Sam woke Jack up.
She woke him with her mouth another time, just after sunrise, and she had to hold his hips down with all her might to avoid a broken nose. He loved it, totally, but he advised giving him a little warning the next time.
She woke him with a shouted, “Sir!” when the natives on P2X-777 stormed their camp, bearing torches like something out of a Frankenstein movie.
She woke him with a soft kiss one day, the way he’d woken her the previous morning. The previous morning had been when he’d proposed. This morning was when she gave him her answer.
She brought him breakfast in bed the morning after the wedding. It was the smell of burnt toast that woke Jack up.

"Don't tell me," Sam said. "It's your sidearm, you swear." Heh!

And of course the sidearm reference is made of win! :-)

After a line in SGA that referred back to "domesticated equines" from an old SG-1, I couldn't resist the old side-arm line... :D

And...there's a response at the very bottom of the page that I think probably belongs to you. :-)

Re: Five times Sam woke Jack up.
Now for this: I like a (very) little S/J now and then. I know, I know, but you have to remember I kinda started out as an OT3er, so I even like a little S/D (heresy!). But you know me, free love and all. Anyway.
I love the tentative touch, and that Jack was "more than okay" with it; love the holding-down-the-hips thing, because it typically seems like such a *male* thing to do, and it seems in-character that Sam would do it too. Love the inclusion of off-world event, which had to be one of hundreds that happened just like that; and I love it that it took her a day to answer his proposal. And burnt toast. Heh.
I (for one) think this was a *lovely* way to make up for the Sam angst of the other response.
*sits quietly in the minority corner* *g*

I think here I made Sam a little more human than the clueless dreamer in the other prompt. Who had to be stomped upon, firmly, lol.
I was just watching "Singularity", for redial_the_gate, and noticed once again how tomboyish Sam often seems. I don't know if it's good acting or a little bit of Amanda, but sometimes Sam (e.g. in a dress or talking to a child) just looks "awkward", like a guy might in the same circumstances. So, interesting that you found that *male* act in character for Sam. :-)

(And I am thinking of my own Sam construct, which I like better than TPTB's, heck, I like *almost* anybody's Sam better than TPTB's Sam. *sigh* I wish they would have brought in Joss Whedon to write just for Sam.)
